FAQs
Do you take insurance?
No, we do not accept insurance. As a cash-based practice, we are out-of-network with all insurance providers. This allows us to provide the highest quality, on-on-one care without the limitations imposed by insurance companies. Insurance plans often restrict the types and amount of treatment you can receive, as well as when and how often you can access care. Increasingly, insurers are requiring prior authorization for physical therapy visits, adding delays and complexities to your treatment. By not working with insurance, we can offer more flexibility, personalized care, and a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs—without waiting for approval or worrying about arbitrary limits on your visits. We believe this model allows us to provide more effective, efficient care that truly supports your long-term health goals.
Will my insurance reimburse me?
Most of the time, yes. We provide a superbill document after every appointment that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. The amount of reimbursement varies on your contract with your insurance provider. You can find out how much your insurance will reimburse you in advance by calling and inquiring about your benefits.
What is your cancelation policy?
We have a 24 hours cancelation policy. You can cancel your appointment 24 hours prior to your appointment time. If your appointment is in less than 24 hours, please contact us to cancel.
Do I need a referral?
In Washington State, you do not need a referral to be seen by a Physical Therapist.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Wear comfortable clothing with good access to the joint we are treating. For example, if we are seeing you for your knee, it would be best to wear shorts.
What should I expect during my first visit?
A doctor of physical therapy will perform a 60 minute evaluation to determine the root cause of dysfunction/pain and create a plan to address the problem.
