Why pay cash for physical therapy services?

First, you need to understand that insurance based physical therapy care is NOT equal to cash based physical therapy care.
After 5.5 years in outpatient, insurance-based physical therapy, I transitioned to a cash-based model. Why? So I can provide high-quality care that isn’t dictated by insurance companies. The care I can offer in a cash-based clinic is not the same as what’s possible in an insurance-based setting. With cash-based care, you’ll get more out of each appointment and likely need fewer visits. Your care becomes more efficient—and more effective.
Longer Appointments = Better Care
At Endeavor Physical Therapy, all appointments are 60 minutes one-on-one with a Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy. In an insurance-based clinic, you might get just 25–40 minutes—with split attention. That’s simply not enough time, especially for complex cases.
Each 60-minute visit at Endeavor includes:
Assessment of your response to treatment
Ongoing evaluation and clinical decision-making
Revisions to your plan of care and goals
Hands-on treatment and personalized exercise progressions
Every visit is tailored to move your care forward.
Deep Work Takes Time
In traditional clinics, appointments are short and therapists juggle documentation, respond to interruptions, and oversee multiple patients at once. There’s little room to go deep—and that’s where the most meaningful progress happens.
Whether your case is complex or straightforward, quality care requires focus, time, and energy. At Endeavor, you’ll get an undistracted provider dedicated to helping you reach your goals. That’s what it takes to make lasting change—and that’s what we’re here to do.
Truly Patient Centered Care
Do you want your insurance company deciding when, how, or what kind of care you receive?
Insurance often restricts:
The number of visits allowed
What treatments are covered
How much time your therapist can spend with you
Insurance companies often deny care for anything not related to basic daily function—like running, lifting, or athletic performance. That’s a problem, especially if you're trying to stay active and live fully.
One-on-One with a Doctor of Physical Therapy
At Endeavor, every session is with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. While Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and Aides play important roles in some settings, Washington state law prohibits them from performing evaluations, progressing your care, or making clinical decisions.
We want you to get the most out of every visit—without delays, without gatekeepers, and without waiting to see your PT just to ask a question or adjust your treatment. At Endeavor Physical Therapy, we reevaluate your progress every single visit and make changes immediately if needed.
